Corban Barnes is a one-stop shop for professional country music collaboration both in the studio and on tour. The Baton Rouge native currently contributes classic and modern acoustic and electric guitar, keys and B3 organ to over two dozen artists and bands who perform and record regularly throughout Louisiana and the Gulf South.
A lifelong, full-time musician, Corban taught himself keys at age 12 and had played his first 20,000-seat venue by age 14. At 16, he added guitar and songwriting to his repertoire. His catalog includes 250 original songs of his own, and countless co-writes with other composers.
He has shared the stage with Wendell Cox, Lee Roy Powell, Travis Tritt, the Bellamy Brothers, Frank Foster, Randy Houser, Tracy Lawrence, Wayne Toups, Johnny Lee, Creed Fisher, Brian Brignac (Sonny Landreth) and Travis Thibodaux, (formerly of Journey). His current collaboration roster includes Kendall Shaffer, Taylor Nauta, Peyton Falgoust, Hogleg Band, Jonathon “Boogie” Long, Louis Prima Jr., and the recent Cajun Country Jam backing Randy Travis at his induction into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame.
Corban was both a Guitar Player of the Year and Piano Player of the Year nominee for the 2022 Texas Country Music Awards. He is endorsed by Carondelet Guitar and Bass Pickups, and Komet Amplification.
